Merrithew Stability Barrel

The Merrithew Stability Barrel gives you all the functionality of a traditional Pilates Barrel but with the added benefit of being able to be used in an inverted position. Stability Barrel is an essential tool for alignment and mobilization of the spine, improves posture and develops balance and control. The curved surface provides cushioned support for the body in prone, supine or side lying positions, and the soft base provides a flat platform that facilitates exercises that focus on balance and stability. These barrels accommodate a wide variety of users depending on torso size, flexibility and specific exercise. It is padded with a 15 mm thick foam Coronella pad from Airex, made in Switzerland with top-quality, closed-cell, moisture-resistant, closed-cell nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR). The surface is non-slip with hygienic and antimicrobial properties, absorbs energy, conforms evenly to pressure and quickly returns to its original shape when the pressure is removed.
