The Shimano 105 R7000 11-speed cassette has been redesigned to offer an even wider gear ratio. It uses the same sprocket thickness as the previous 10-speed versions. It uses Shimano’s patented HG-EV sprocket set in which they manage to pack 11 gears in a 1.85 mm thickness in order to fit Shimano’s powerful HG-X11 chain.
